Overall, I recommend it to people who like weird murder mysteries. Some things are disgusting (not murder but some parts of the story) but I still enjoyed the drama because the point of the episodes is to find out how the murder happened and who is the murderer. The fact they went crazy with blood and special effects didn't help but I applaud them for that, the gore makes the drama better. Kindaichi and Miyuki can't have one normal vacation. At least three people die in an episode. Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo - Tanpenshuu is a Manga/Manhwa/Manhua in (English) language, series is written by Amagi Seimaru ,Read Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo - Tanpenshuu raw,Updating for free on MangaGuru. I might be wrong but I don't remember even one villain that survived. Not even one murderer or a bad person went to jail because they all die at the end. Someone killed a person they cared about and now they are back for revenge with an overly complicated plan. I understand that it's the plot but it's funny to see how will murder find them.Ī few patterns between episodes I noticed: They go somewhere with school, murder happens. They go on a treasure hunt, murder happens. I like those kind of stories where the main characters are not detectives (in this drama Kindaichi is a grandson of a detective but he is a student so technically he has nothing to do with solving murder cases) yet wherever they go, murder is there. It's two students solving murder mysteries. This drama is fun to watch, the episodes and cases are not connected so there is no big story or a villain to defeat at the end. I definitely recommend this to the Kindaichi fans. How did the murder happen? That's the question every episode. The story is your usual Kindaichi which usually (well I usually) do not know the killer until towards the end plus it is modernised.

I am very impressed with Yamada Ryosuke and Kawaguchi Haruna but especially Yamada Ryosuke since he reminds me so much of Domoto Tsuyoshi in terms of acting Kindaichi (he really did his homework and must have watched it a few times himeself) Apart from looking a little bit chubbier his voice sounds like him. I watched a bit of Kamenashi Kazuya and Ueno Juri and he did make him more playful but his appearance doesn't really match the Kindaichi description.Īnyway, this is the only Kindaichi that I watched that is not the original and I watched it the whole way through.

I did try one/two episode of Matsumoto Jun and Naitou Takashi but Matsumoto played it really coolly and the girl seemed clingy. I just like the original Kindiaichi and I have not watched the other seasons because I didn't think the other seem to have that aura of the characters that the original actors, Domoto Tsuyoshi and Tomosaka Rie had.
